Arithang- Streets for People
Studio Interweave & Hishay Doma Bhutia
These proposals were submitted to Smart City Gangtok as part of the 'Streets for People Challenge' that aimed to create walking friendly streets through quick measures, scalability and reimagining streets through the lens of economic regeneration, safety and child friendly interventions. Proposal 1 was submitted by Studio Interweave, while Proposal 2 by Hishay Doma Bhutia & team.

The habitants of Arithang should come forward for proper feedback as the plan seems to be
relevant.
Plan was systematic and can definitely change the face of Arithang
Footpath intervention sounds very much realistic and happening. I think for now it would be great if the time and effort is put to such realistic and much needed projects.
